taking joy in your happiness
Mudita is a word from Sanskrit and Pali with no direct translation in the English language. In Buddhism, Mudita is said to sweep away the fog of boredom and bring great wisdom. At Mudita Wellness, our goal is to help you be the best version of you – the version where you feel balanced, happy and whole.

I discovered yoga at a time when I was looking for a way to bring balance to my body and my life. I was drawn to the idea that yoga can heal your body from the inside out – no bandaids or medication required.
I lived in Chicago at the time and started practicing at a small, but intense, studio. While the practice was advanced beyond my ability, I stuck with it. And boy am I glad I did! The practice completely changed my life and continues to bring healing and balance at every turn.
I am grateful for my experiences and always hoped that one day I could help others welcome the joy of yoga into their lives too. And, after 18 years in a corporate setting, I decided to do just that.
In 2016 I completed my 230-hour certification at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis. I then received special certifications in Meditation and Restorative Yoga. In 2024 I completed a 300-hour certification at Yoga North to become a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with a focus on SomaYoga and Level 1 Yoga Therapy.
With a background in the Iyengar and Hatha traditions, I am especially drawn to ayurveda, meditation and restorative practices. I strive to help others find comfort and alignment in their expression of each pose and believe in my heart that yoga truly is for everyone.
Meet Megan
Megan is a certified integrative nutrition coach, yoga instructor, and astrologer who loves holding space for others to fully embody all that they are and all that they are going through on their life’s journey.
She empowers others to truly know and trust their inner selves, listen to their hearts, know how to calm their minds and treat their bodies with kindness. She believes that when we come into this alignment we become our best selves with the ability to serve others with love at the forefront.
Megan’s healing focus lies around balancing the chakras and nervous system, supported through astrology, movement, and nutrition. She also enjoys coaching others in their search for meaning, purpose, and desire to connect to something bigger than themselves.
When not in service to others outside of her family, you will find Megan spending time with her husband, Brent, two teenage daughters, Ellery and Lucy (Irish twins!), and sweet dog Lily.
She can usually be found outdoors, whether hiking through a park, soaking up the sun by the water, or skiing on the slopes. Always trying to practice what she teaches, Megan loves moving her body while walking, running, strength training, or stretching on her mat and making clean, whole-food meals while learning more about spirituality, philosophies, and religions.
