Classes at Mudita are rooted in yoga tradition. Here you will find more than physical exercise.
You will soothe and strengthen your body, mind and spirit through breath work, meditation and physical movement.
The Mudita Style of yoga is primarily Gentle Yoga that incorporates meditation and restorative practices based on the Hatha Yoga tradition.
Gentle Yoga includes a variety of styles that offer something for all ages and abilities. Movements are slow and mindful, allowing time to move safely in and out of each pose and make adjustments as needed. Props are often used to help with alignment and offer support. Classes typically include both seated and standing poses, along with some flow.
Hatha yoga typically includes a set of physical postures (asana) and
breathing techniques (pranayama), practiced more slowly and with more static posture holds than a typical flow class (Vinyasa).
Restorative yoga promotes deep relaxation through the use of props like
blocks, blankets, bolsters and straps, that completely support you as you hold poses for longer periods of time.
Do I need to pre-register for class?
It is always nice to know who’s coming! You can pre-register online, but drop-ins are welcome unless otherwise noted.
How do I pay for class?
Payments can be made online or in studio. Cash, check and credit card are accepted. Online payments can be made on the pricing page or when scheduling a class.
When should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class. This gives you time to get comfortable and settled into the space.
What should I bring to class?
Bring your yoga mat and a water bottle. A limited supply of mats, blankets, blocks and straps are available at the studio, but many prefer to bring their own.
Is there parking?
There is free parking at the Anchored Health Chiropractic Studio. The Kristina Lynn Photography and Design Studio is located in downtown Stillwater, so please allow extra time to find street parking.
